Additionally, the state invalidates out-of-state IDs issued to undocumented immigrants and imposes criminal penalties on individuals transporting undocumented immigrants in Florida. These policies have created an environment of fear and uncertainty for undocumented immigrants causing many to leave the state of Florida.
